Our events are open to all – for the foreseeable future they’ll be held online, using Zoom.

Each month there will be something different: from business topics of interest across the whole of the creative industries, such as digital marketing, through to expert speakers sharing their tips and insights on specific sector topics.

Plus, you’ll always have the opportunity to meet other creatives and build connections to spark new ideas and collaborations.

Event attendance, as ever with Spark Grimsby, is free.

If you’re holding an event that might be of interest to those in the creative industries in Grimsby / North East Lincolnshire, then do let us know and we’ll add it to our calendar. We’d love to create a hub for all things creative in the area, simply complete the form.

      About this event
On Thursday 21st October we’ll be asking Glyn to share his advice on how creatives can develop their skills and promote their work to commissioning bodies. Standing out from the crowd in this extremely competitive space can be the difference between “going live” and just having a great idea.
Learn how to get your ideas in front of those commissioning projects for TV and media. In his current role Glyn is responsible for all skills and training initiatives – including new entrant and professional development – and oversees projects such as the Centre of Screen Excellence: Yorkshire, Connected Campus and Beyond Brontes. He also develops and maintains Screen Yorkshire’s relationships with Yorkshire-based indies working in the broadcast sector. This is sure to be a lively and well attended event for anyone in TV and Media Production – there’ll be time for you to ask direct questions. The session will take place on Zoom on Thursday 21st October, 12:30pm – 2:00pm
